High pressure will build east of the region today with temperatures moderating and abundant sunshine giving way to increasing clouds this afternoon. Clouds will continue to increase into tonight as a warm front begins to slowly approach from the southwest. A few showers are also possible well south and west of Albany.

The warm front will then linger south of the region on Thursday with the chance for a few scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm into late week. It looks to remain rather mild and unsettled at times into the upcoming weekend.
