Plea for Guidance is an interesting new white card from Wizards of the Coast's expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Born of the Gods." This rare sorcery allows you to search your deck for two enchantments and put them into your hand.
Plea for Guidance - 5W
Search your library for up to two enchantment cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
On Theros, the dove is a symbol not of peace but of discovery. Quick wings herald the arrival of a revelation.
Plea for Guidance can help you find your singleton copies of Erebos, Thassa, Nylea, Purphoros, Heliod, Karametra, Xenagos, Mogis, Ephara, or Phenax. You don't need to use Plea for Guidance to find help from a god though: There's a plethora of enchantment creatures, auras, and just "normal" enchantments you'll be able to nab from the right deck and make an impact on the battlefield.
With multiple Plea for Guidance in your deck you'll be able to enlist a silver bullet strategy, allowing your main deck to have a wide array of answers and threats and a transformational sideboard that could potentially wreck your opponent in the right match.
Although Plea for Guidance's mana cost is a bit steep at six, the ability to search your deck for a card is a powerful one that shouldn't be ignored. Plea For Guidance lets you find two cards, not just one. You'll be able to assemble combo pieces, find threats, answers, and more.
How will you use Plea for Guidance?
