PlayStation Vita to play PlayStation 4 games

Today Feb. 21, 2013 Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. revealed the PlayStation 4 during a press event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York. One of the key new pieces of news is that PlayStation Vita owners will be able to play PlayStation 4 games with their PlayStation Vita. During the announcement Sony displayed an upcoming PlayStation 4 game "Knack" running remotely on a PlayStation Vita.

According to a Tweet by PlayStation:

Remote Play will enable PS4 games playable on PS Vita.

Remote Play as a whole will be a large feature of PlayStation 4, and Sony want every title to feature the function. Essentially the PlayStation 4 will act as a server and the PlayStation Vita will act as a client. Interconnectivity will play a large role on the PlayStation 4, not only with just the PlayStation Vita. Gamers will be able to use their smartphones and tablets to control the PlayStation 4.
