Playstation Plus members getting ‘Plants vs. Zombies’ on the PS Vita for free (Photos)

The official Playstation Blog announced today that all active subscribers to the Playstation Plus service will be receiving the PS Vita version of “Plants vs. Zombies” as a free download starting tomorrow. Immediately following the Playstation Network’s weekly update on Tuesday, PS Plus members will be able to download the PS Vita title, “Plants vs. Zombies,” for free.

Every week, Playstation Plus subscribers are given a new free game to download. The selection of titles comes from an assortment of PSN mini-games as well as full Playstation 3 and PS Vita games.

Plants vs. Zombies” is a strategy game where players plant various forms of vegetation designed to combat the unending onslaught of zombies. The PS Vita version of the game features mini-games and co-op multiplayer. The game will be available to download tomorrow for all Playstation Plus members to round out the Feb. selection of free games offered through the Sony service.
