As the battle between North America and the EU rages on, both sides gear up for the final skirmish of September. Last week (we were unfortunately unable to cover it), NA won with two free games and 5 discounted items while the EU only offered up a single discount.
With the victory of the month assured, North America launches the final assault. First they send in the free game, "Rayman Origins" (PlayStation Vita). They follow up with a rapid-fire shot of "Limbo" (PS3 & PS Vita. PS+: $11.99), "Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut" (PS3 & PS Vita. PS+: $11.69), "Worms Revolution" (PS3. PS+: $7.50), "Pinballistik: Alien Tycoon Bundle" (PS3. PS+: $3.99), "Pinballistik" + DLC Bundle (PS3. PS+: $3.99), "Pinballistik: Made of Money" (PS3 Add-On. PS+: $2.39) and "Pinballistik: Sector X" (PS3 Add-On. PS+: $2.39). The full update can be found here.
The EU, suffering quite a bit of damage, launches an astoundingly effective counter-assault. They lead in with the PlayStation 3 free games, "Far Cry 3", "Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen", and "Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams". They follow up the PS3 assault with a PlayStation Vita assault, which includes "Street Fighter x Tekken" and "Touch My Katamari". Finally, they fire off a single discount, "Worms Revolution" (half off until October 8). Their full update can be found here.
With such a ferocious assault, the EU manages to clench the final battle of the month. Will they be able to claim October as well? Or will they be defeated in most battles as they were this month? Time will tell, but for now, happy gaming!
