Playstation Network users can now use Paypal to purchase games and apps

For quite some time now Xbox 360 owners have been able to use Paypal to buy Microsoft Points or games on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It was only a matter of time before Sony jumped on the bandwagon.

Playstation Network users can now officially use PayPal to buy things via Sony's Entertainment Network website. Some users have reported getting errors when trying to add funds to the site however.

The system however has been working for other users, and considering this just came out it's no surprise that there's a few bugs in the system at the moment. Users can still purchase games and other apps the traditional way, if you're not into PayPal.

The best part of having PayPal available for your system is that you no longer need to enter your credit card information in anywhere. That's a huge plus for those Playstation 3 owners that hate systems having their credit card information out there.

Head over to Sony's Entertainment Network for more details.
