Playoff tickets for Packers are out there

After a remarkable finish against the rival Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers head into an NFC Wild Card Playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers, at home. Most would think ticket would be impossible to come by.

That's just not true. Don Walker of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that about 15,000 tickets are available. But at what cost?

They're affordable. Yesterday, the team released tickets first to season ticket holders and then later in the day to the general public. The asking price was a little over $100.

Taking a look at, a secondary market website, a ticket can be had for as little as $129. As of Monday morning, there were nearly 5,000 listings for tickets on the site.

With weather expected to be in the 20s, fans may be hesitant to come to the game. Surely, the Packers will want as many fans in the seats as possible.

The Packers haven't been able to beat the 49ers in recent games. Last season, the Packers were eliminated by the 49ers in the playoffs, and then faced them in week 1 of the 2013-2014 season, again losing.

No matter the attendance, the 8-7-1 Packers will have to oust three tough teams in the NFC if they are to advance to the Super Bowl.
