PlayJam launches global GameStick pre-order service (Photos)

Hot off the heels of a very successful Kickstarter, PlayJam, developer of the portable Android based game console GameStick has officially launched their pre-order service.

This service will allow users who were late to the Kickstarter get in on the very same benefits. Priced at $79, people who order the GameStick from this service will receive their product with a dock and case after the initial Kickstarter run in April. The GameStick store also features an assortment of peripherals from $9.99 to $24.99.

Anthony Johnson, CMO of PlayJam had this to say on Kickstarter and his company’s plans to continue GameStick’s success.

"January was a pivotal month for GameStick with the success of the campaign ensuring that we could bring the device to life. Since the campaign closed, we have received thousands of e-mails from individuals keen to ensure they remain one of the first to receive the product. By continuing to offer GameStick on pre-order, we will be able to maintain momentum ahead of our planned retail activity.”
