The tribute returns for one show only on January 12, 2014
Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935. On January 12, 2014, “The Elvis Recreators” will gather in a tribute concert for one night only at the State Theatre.
The concert will focus on the four main areas of Elvis’ musical history. There will be songs covering his Rock-A-Billy years, his military and movie years, his ’68 comeback special (complete with black leather jacket and last but not least his Las Vegas Jumpsuit Years.
The show features the best in Elvis impersonators including Shawn Klush (the acclaimed No. 1 Elvis performer in the country), Donny Edwards and current star of “Million Dollar Quartet” Cody Ray Slaughter. Joining this stellar cast will be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and original Elvis drummer, DJ Fontana, The Sweet Inspirations and the Blackwood Quartet.
Tickets are on sale now for “The Elvis Birthday Tribute” to be performed on January 12, 2014 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office, via phone at 216-241-6000 or online atwww.playhousesquare.org.
Ticket prices range from $10.00 to $47.00. Groups of 16 or more call 216-640-8600.
