Seven performances in three days (March 20 to 23, 2014 at the State Theatre
It’s all your favorite Sesame Street characters including Elmo, Abby, Cadabby and Murray live on stage for a toe tapping and finger snapping musical extravaganza. This musical group will bring their talents to the stage and even into the audience. The all-0net “Sesame Street Live – Can’t Stop Singing” will be appearing at PlayhouseSquare’s State Theatre from Thursday, March 20 through Sunday, March 23, 2014. Tickets are on sale now for all eight performances.
Elmo has found Abby Cadabby’s magic wand and in his unskilled hands Sesame Street suddenly becomes a nonstop, all-singing, all dancing musical show. Grover and Baby Bear are singing about their highs and lows, Cookie Monster is singing fast and slow. Bert and Ernie talk to each other in song as Murray makes mouth music for all the characters to sing along. Learn why singing is good but learning to stop singing is good to. Will Elmo learn his lesson about the power that music magic can have?
In the Sesame Street tradition, “Can’t Stop Singing” is a fun learning experience for the entire family that includes life performance as well as up-close intereaction with the cast. The show is chock full of timeless lessons. Parents will appreciate the high quality production standards that include high tech stagecraft, well written script and wholesome musical selections.
