PlayhouseSquare presents “Kevin James Live” at the State Theatre

Comedian and actor Kevin James is coming to PlayhouseSquare for one night only on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the PlayhouseSquare’s State Theatre. The appearance is part of his “Kevin Jones Live” Tour.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. and can be purchased at the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office, by going online at or by calling (216) 241-6000. Tickets are priced at $65.00, $55.00 and $39.50.

Kevin James is the producer, co-writer, and star of the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009),Zookeeper (2011) and Here Comes The Boom (2012). James starred with Adam Sandler in Columbia Pictures’ blockbuster Grown Ups (2010) and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007). His next film Grown Ups 2 with Adam Sandler, hits theaters this summer. He broke into the film world in 2005 in Columbia Pictures’ Hitch starring opposite Will Smith.

Along with his movie career, James is also the star of “The King of Queens”, which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing. It garnered him an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world.
