One night only performance is scheduled for October 5, 2014

In 2006 Don Williams thought he had retired. He even did a farewell tour that sold out coast to coast. Little did he know that his fans and the record industry was not quite ready for him to retire.

In 2012 he recorded his album “And So It Goes” as he joined guest artists Alison Krauss, Vince Gill and Keith Urban which featured his smooth baritone voice. His most recent CD is “Reflections”.

PlayhouseSquare is pleased to announce that Don Williams will be performing at PlayhouseSquare’s intimate Ohio Theatre for one 8:00 p.m. concert on Sunday, October 5, 2014.

Tickets for the Country Music Hall of Fame inductee go on sale Friday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. at www.playhousesquare.org, by calling (216) 241-6000 or by stopping by the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office. Prices will be $65 & $50.

Williams is credited with 11 Number One hit singles including “I Believe in You,” “Till All The Rivers Run Dry,” “If Hollywood Don’t Need You (I Still Do),” “I’m Just A Country Boy” and “(Turn Out The Lights And) Love Me Tonight.” He was the first country music artist to make a concept music video.
