“Inside Amy Schumer” began on Comedy Central on April 30, 2013 and was ranked as a top three program on cable with the M18-34 and M18-24 demographics. It is shown on Tuesdays from 10:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is currently in production for its return this season when it will debut on April 1, 2014 at the same time slot. The show uses scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy, and man- on-the-street interviews that explore the inner workings of Amy’s mind.

Amy is a blend of girl-next-door combined with edgy comedy that has seen her star rise rapidly in the comedy world. She started her hetwork career in 2007 as a contestant on “Last Comic Standing” which led to guesting on “30 Rock”. After starring in her very own Comedy Central special she went on to perform on shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Conan O’Brian & Howard Stern to The View and Curb Your Enthusiasm. She had a huge break when tagged by Comedy Central to participate at the Central’s “Roast of Charlie Sheen” and was named one of the Top Ten Comics to watch this past year.
