The hit musical “Jersey Boys” is returning to the State Theatre at PlayhouseSquare, May 6 through 18, 2014 and single tickets will go on sale on January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. “Jersey Boys” is part of the KeyBank Broadway Series at PlayhouseSquare.
“Jersey Boys” is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and their rise to fame as one of the greatest singing groups of all time. Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi were a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sound and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty. The show itself premiered November 6, 2005 and has since been seen by over 18 million people world wide

KeyBank Broadway Series “Broadway Buzz”
To enrich the experience of the theatergoers, PlayhouseSquare presents free Broadway Buzz events to complement KeyBank Broadway Series shows. Broadway Buzz Pre-Show Talks, providing behind-the-scenes insight, are held in the Idea Center at PlayhouseSquare one hour prior to each performance of “Jersey Boys”. On Saturday, May 10, the Pre-Show Talk airs on WCLV 104.9 FM at 12:30 p.m. On Thursday evenings, guests are invited to stay in the theater for a post-show chat with members of the cast. Broadway Buzz events also are available for on-demand listening at playhousesquare.org or by subscribing to our podcast, and are made possible by the generous donors and sponsors that support PlayhouseSquare’s not-for-profit mission.
