Event will be coming to PlayhouseSquare on July 12, 2014

The 8th annual Multi-Music Fest will be happening in the State Theatre at PlayhouseSquare on July 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Headlining the event will be “Cameo”. The concert will celebrate the lives of two of Cleveland’s greatest local music makers, Gerald Levert and his brother, Sean Levert. Among the tribute artists performiing will be Miki Howard, Full Force, The Original Rude Boys and Men at Large.

The Multi-Music Fest is a non-profit fundraising event presented by the M.C. Chatman Center for Humanitarian Services. Proceeds will be donated for community services and causes chosen by the family of Gerald and Sean Levert. (Gerald’s birthday, July 13, continues to be a significant day in the city of Cleveland.)
For the second year in a row, the event will be hosted by actress/comedienne Kym Whitley, from OWN-TV’s “Raising Whitley” show, as well as the upcoming Haunted House 2 comedy film with Marlon Wayans. Cameo, is the R&B funk band behind such Top 10 hits as “Word Up”, “Candy”, “Sparkle”, “Back and Forth” and more.
