Playboy Playmate dead: Cassandra Lynn Hensley found dead at 34

Playboy Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found dead Wednesday at a friend's house in Los Angeles. The Playmate died at 34 years of age, TMZ reports Jan. 16. As of now investigators believe Hensley died of an overdose.

Sources close to the situation said Hensley's friend discovered her "floating" in a bath tub. She immediately called 911 to tell them about a possible OD, but paramedics could not save her. Foul play is not suspected in the death of Cassandra Lynn Hensley.

Hensley was Miss February 2006. She was reportedly active on her Twitter account with her latest post being three days ago.

The Playboy Playmate was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley area of Utah, Us Weekly reports. It added that Hensley began her modeling career while she was studying to become an aesthetician. She placed in the Top 20 at the Hawaiian Tropic contest. After that, she tried out for Playboy and made the cut.

"I'm happy to be a Playmate," Hensley reads in her bio. "It's a dream come true."

It is not known what Cassandra Lynn Hensley may have overdosed on if that was how she died.
