It does not appear that Hensley was murdered. In fact her friend performed CPR while waiting for the paramedics to arrive. But, they were not able to revive Hensley and she was pronounced dead. A representative for Hensley's family commented to E! News in a statement, "It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Cassandra Hensley's passing from a tragic and accidental overdose. We are all very grateful for the outpouring of support from friends, family, and fans." The representative went on to request respect and privacy at this time as plans are made to celebrate the life of "a wonderful and loving mother, wife and friend."

Law enforcement sources have said Hensley had indulged in significant amounts of cocaine and booze before she was found dead in a bathtub, reports TMZ. She had recently flown to Los Angeles and was visiting a celebrity photographer. At that time she was complaining of not feeling well. Than after a photo shoot she partied early in the evening at the photographers home. The photographer said they than had sex and did large amounts of cocaine and drank lots of champagne. Soon thereafter Hensley was found dead in a bathtub. It's so sad to see Hensley's young life so senselessly lost to drugs and booze.
