Playboy model Holly Madison plans to have labor induced today to have her first baby. The former Girl Next Door star, 33, is having a baby girl. She will be joined by her boyfriend and father of the baby in a Las Vegas hospital, E! Online confirmed on March 4.
Holly talked about her boyfriend Pasquale Rotella's excitement by saying,
"He's as excited about it as I am," she said. "Maybe more!"
The baby's name is being kept a secret, for the time being, but Holly gives us a clue by saying,
"It's such an unusual and difficult name. I have a feeling we'll add something simpler once she's arrived safely in our world."
Hugh Hefner's former number one girl has odd plans to eat her placenta in the form of a pill. Believe it or not, woman wanting to eat their placenta is a growing trend. A feature in New York Magazine titled "The Placenta Cookbook" refers to this post-pregnancy trend. In the feature, Jenifer Mayor, a professional placenta-preparer (there is such a thing?) stated,
“They’re happy pills,” Mayer says. “They’re made by your body, for your body. Why wouldn’t you want to try?”
Don't worry, Holly isn't nervous about eating the placenta, just about having the baby. According to US Magazine, Holly said,
"I'm feeling very relaxed, very, very happy, contented, yet a little restless with anticipation, but all is good. I'm ready now for the delivery. I can't wait to be a mommy, although I’m not giving up my career. Everything is wonderful. These are the happiest days of my life."
