Playboy Mansion Bigpoint E3 Party Hosts Celebrity Guests - Twilight and Charmed

The Playboy Mansion was packed with celebrity guests for Bigpoint’s E3 Party this week. Wes Ramsey (Charmed), Bronson Pelletier (Twilight), and Maria Kanellis (Celebrity Apprentice) were just a few of the stars there to celebrate the video gaming industry. E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is the annual video game conference and show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and there is clearly no recession in this industry. Along with taking the Playboy Mansion Tour with Joyce Chow (Monte Bubbles Video News Reporter), where you get to see Hugh Hefner’s animals (mostly birds and monkeys), game room, tennis courts and hot tubs, the best part of the night was hanging out with our entourage captured in my HD VIDEO: Playboy Mansion Bigpoint E3 Party.

Wes Ramsey was the first to arrive at the mansion, and explained why, “I was here for my first time at the Playboy Mansion to meet Hef, and we were screening The Playboy Club, our new show on NBC this fall. It was fantastic. Everyone was excited to meet Hef. Everyone was excited to see pilot. And it’s going to be fun. Monday nights. 10 o’clock.”

As a video game voice and Playboy Cover Model, Maria Kanellis (Celebrity Apprentice, WWE Smackdown, WWF Raw TV shows, and Maria character voice on WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2010) was very excited to be at this E3 celebration. Maria has stunning red hair, and we captured a fun photo of her with Bigpoint CEO, Heiko Hubertz. His birthday was one of the main reasons for the party. When I wished Heiko Happy Birthday, he explained with a big smile, “It’s not until Monday” (which is June 13th so this story will arrive just-in-time for a second celebration!)

When speaking to Bronson Pelletier (Twilight Series), who has an amazing smile and great dimples, I confessed that I’ve never seen a Twilight movie. When asked about his part, Bronson explained, “I play the Alpha Werewolf named Jared” (time to rent these movies and get with it!) This was a pretty embarrassing moment, and it made me think about the millions of women who would have probably died to be in my shoes since besides being a hunk, he’s been in New Moon, Eclipse, and will soon be seen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Series - Part 1 (2011) and Part 2 (2012.) We also discussed a video that I filmed of Chaske Spencer (Twilight Series) speaking at a Creative Coalition brunch called Freddie Highmore Bounced from Sundance 2011 Panel. Because Freddie (August Rush, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) was under 21, he was forced to leave in the middle of this filmmakers panel by the Utah Police, even though it was 11:00 am and there was no alcohol being served. Bronson responded, “I wasn’t even there, but that makes me mad.”

To give you a behind-the-scenes view, you'll find 12 party photos of the mansion and our entourage in the Photo Slideshow attached to this story, that include Wes Ramsey (The Playboy Club), Maria Kanellis (WWE Smackdown), Tim Sepulvado (Publicist), Bronson Pelletier (Twilight Series), Eric Gonzalez (Volume 11 Media), Joyce Chow (Monte Bubbles), Alana Wagner, Doug Yazzie (Publicist), and Phil Philleo (The Login Conference.)

We also met our host, Alan Dunton (Bigpoint Public Relations Director), who had been working on the party all week. He explained, “We’re celebrating video games. This is Bigpoint’s E3 party. This is our third Playboy party in a year. It’s the best one, It’s at the Playboy mansion. We’re just here having a good time with our friends and partners all over the world. A lot of German people are here from our corporate office in Hamburg – no other objective than to have a good time.” Bigpoint was headed to Las Vegas on a midnight flight for another gaming convention, and we thanked them for putting together a party with everything from a sushi bar, roast beef buffet, open bar, music, lights, and of course, beautiful women everywhere! Now, how can we get more people into the gaming industry to drive our economy?
