The independent comedy "Play Nice" starring Mary Lynn Rajskub of "24" fame is now Hulu Plus as part of a multi-title release deal between Hulu Plus and the Vuguru studio. Two other titles, horror film "Crawlspace," and puppet-crime comedy "The Fuzz" will also have their debuts on Hulu Plus over the coming weeks.
"Play Nice" stars Rajskub (who also co-produced) as Ellen Bell, who is co-headmaster of the prestigious Le Chance Academy along with her husband Dave, played by John Ennis. The film also stars (Mad Men, Hot Tub Time Machine) and David Hoffman (Important Things with Demetri Martin, Bridesmaids) as parents who will go to any length to ensure their childrens' success.
The announcement of this multi-title deal follows the recent US premiere of Vuguru’s high-action thriller "The Millionaire Tour," starring Dominic Monaghan and Agnes Bruckner, on Hulu and Hulu Plus in March.
“The smart humor of Play Nice will appeal to the Hulu audiences,” said Larry Tanz, CEO of Vuguru. “We are eager to follow the 'Play Nice' film release with 'The Fuzz' and 'Crawlspace' as we expand our content offering on Hulu’s rapidly expanding subscription service.”
