Plantar fasciitis doesn't get Nene down as he still plays for Wizards

Plantar fasciitis will not keep Nene off the basketball court as fans watched him play for the Washington Wizards tonight in a big game. On Dec. 28, plantar fasciitis started to trend on Yahoo fans went to Twitter to talk about Nene and his injury but he will still out on the court.

This was a big return for Nene and he did a great job. The Wizards were up and he was still in the game so it looks like he doesn't need rest from his foot problems now. Back on Dec. 18, he spoke out in an interview explaining that it had really been bothering him lately. He said his Achilles was better but still a little sore.

Nene has plans to finish strong even though at one time he had said that he would retire before the 2016 Olympics. His planter fasciitis was bothering him a lot and it made him think about it but he may just end up sticking around. Only time will tell.
