Grand Theft Auto V may have just released, but Rockstar Games already has ideas on future installments of the franchise for years to come. In a report by MCV on Oct 3, it was revealed that Rockstar North President Leslie Benzies has confirmed that the developer currently has enough ideas for the series to last for decades. While they don’t have a specific plan for what Grand Theft Auto VI will be about, they have already started picking out ideas for the next entry of the popular open-world crime series.
However, Benzies stated that GTA VI isn’t the developers focus right now. Rockstar Games is more interested in further expanding GTA Online at the moment. The online mode for Grand theft Auto V was something the developer wanted to create for over ten years, since they first started work on GTA III. As such, fans can expect continued support for the multiplayer service as it is the company’s primary development concern for the time being.
Grand Theft Auto V is out now on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
