Planned Parenthood contends 'It Has God's Endorsement' to murder the unborn

In a shocking and startling revelation from Charisma.com comes the most despicable news one could ever imagine. The article was written by Tony Perkins, and it reveals the disturbing thought pattern of the abortion mill known as Planned Parenthood.

"After a string of celebrity endorsements, Planned Parenthood (PP) insists it got the ultimate one: God's. Obviously, Cecile Richards' group is always looking for new ways to justify abortion. But the Bible? That's a step too far, even for them," says Perkins in his article.

The article also mentions that PP sent out a pastoral letter that says in part:

"Many people wrongly assume that all religious leaders disapprove of abortion. The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the scriptures - Jewish or Christian - and there are clergy and people of faith from all denominations who support women making this complex decision."

In April PP even launched "40 Days of Prayer for Abortion." They distributed fliers that said things like" "We believe that human life is holy. That’s why we believe in your right to choose to be a parent or not."

Some of the “churches” in Calif. that participated in the pro-abortion prayer event included "Temple Beth El in Eureka, Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Bayside, St. Francis in Fortuna, Old Town Gazebo in Eureka, and Arcata United Methodist."

On day 40 their "prayer" said: "Today we give thanks and celebrate that abortion is still safe and legal.” To say that abortion is safe is a despicable thing to say, it is not safe-at least for the unborn child and sometimes it even results in the death of the woman having the abortion. A report from After Abortion.org says:

"A new study of the medical records for nearly half a million women in Denmark reveals significantly higher maternal death rates following abortion compared to delivery. This finding has confirmed similar large-scale population studies conducted in Finland and the United States, but contradicts the widely held belief that abortion is safer than childbirth."

The view of abortion being safer than childbirth is often quoted by those who support the murder of unborn children. The findings are said to be based upon death certificates alone and on voluntary reporting to government agencies, according to the report from After Abortion.org.

Doctor David Reardon, who directs the Elliot Institute, said that: “Doctors and other officials completing death certificates almost never know if the deceased had a history of abortion. Record linkage, such as we have done, is the only way to objectively identify and compare death rates associated with pregnancy outcome using the same yardstick.”

Women in Finland, for example, are said to be three times more likely to commit suicide within the first year following an abortion. The highest risk of suicide comes within two months following an abortion. Calif. studies found that women who had an abortion have a higher rate of seeking psychiatric treatment. The study took place over a four year period.

It also found that women who've aborted their babies had a 187 percent chance of dying from heart disease which "can also be affected by stress." Other studies also point to women that have had an abortion as being at a higher risk for things like "substance abuse, self-destructive behavior, psychiatric hospitalization, sleep disorders, eating disorders and a general increase in treatments sought for medical care,” said Reardon.

Christianity Commentary

Is the abortion mill known as Planned Parenthood so desperate to murder babies that they feel the need to try and spiritualize what they do? Isaiah 5:20 says, "What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter" (NLT).

What some people fail to realize is that children are a gift from God and as such should not be murdered in the womb. (Which by the way seems to be a very unsafe place for a child today.)

Psalm 127:3-5 says: "3-Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. 4-Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. 5-How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates" (NLT).

Psalm 139:13-16 says: "13-You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14-Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. 15-You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. 16-You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed" (NLT).

So we can see from these verses alone that God holds every baby's life as precious even before they have substance. "Mankind was made in the image of God, that's what it means to be human! Those in favor of woman's choice obviously don't take into consideration the unborn's right to live. Abortion is the killing of an innocent baby."

Carl Henry, the theologian, said that "abortion is an act of: horrendous modern immolation of millions of fetuses on the altar of sexual gratification." When society no longer esteems the life of the unborn, we greatly diminish the value of all human life.
