Planet-saving porn? This German group says yes!

Eco-porn. There's a term we have yet to hear, but one group of environmental-loving Liebchens are cornering the market on free love filmed for the purpose of selling the homemade sex movies. The organization, called F*** for Forest, is based out of Berlin. The money they make from their porn-movie sales is allegedly used to help save the rainforests.

FFF is featured in a documentary that has made its debut at Austin's SXSW Film Festival, (March 8-17th). Polish film maker, Michal Marczak, follows the group in this shocking yet interesting movie about FFF which began in 2004, founded by Tommy Hol Ellingsen and Leona Johansson.

About FFF:

The group members will randomly approach strangers on the street and invite them to participate in sex to be filmed. They claim that one in ten agree to do it. They also accept pictures and videos from others for their site, but anyone not a member must make a donation in order to view the explicit material they offer for viewing.

The documentary:

The film itself is graphic without any of the nuance offered in a Hollywood, or even a Vivid Entertainment, script. Expect group sex, voyeurism, and even some violent sex. (More on the sex scenes from The Daily Beast contributor Marlow Stern)

Are they effective?

Whether the group actually does help in the effort to save parts of the endangered rainforest is yet to be determined, but they do seem to have managed enlisting strangers for both sex and profit handily.
