On Saturday, a plane crash kills a family of five that were on their way back from a vacation in France. The fateful plane took off from an airport near the French Alps, according to officials. The Moroccan family of five died when the twin-engine plane collided with a hill and then crash landed in a deserted forest just oustside of Grenoble, FOX news reports.
A resident of the nearby village where the crash occurred notified authorities. When emergency services arrived on the scene, the plane was on fire and all aboard were killed.
The father was identified as 46-year-old Farid Berrada, who is believed to be the pilot. His wife and three kids were the only passengers of the doomed flight.
All victims of the tragic crash were from Casablanca and they were on their way back home after spending the holidays at Meribel ski resort, according to the local police.
