Plan out your day

Being a stay at home mom is great. You are always with your children, you are the one with them throughout the day, not a babysitter, and you don’t miss out on any of the milestones. As a stay at home mom, you also have other responsibilities. You have to keep your house clean, cook meals, do laundry, and entertain the children. You are busy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You don’t get a vacation, or breaks. After five o’clock you are still working. Being able to stay home is very wonderful, but at the same time very stressful.

Some moms may not be domestic goddesses. They may love to be home, so that they are with their children, but cleaning and cooking might not come easy for them. You have to find ways to motivate yourself and get the things done that need to be done.

Making a schedule will make it easier to get everything done that you need to. Clean one room every day, pick one day a week and spend most of that day cleaning, or clean a little bit every day. Do whatever works best for you. Also you have to figure out how to fit cleaning in around watching and playing with your children. Being a stay at home mom takes planning out your day. Don’t get discouraged. Make a schedule that works best for you, and stick with it. Everything will fall into place.
