According to an announcement from publisher Bethesda Softworks, Fallout: New Vegas will be out for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall. The news was accompanied by a new trailer.
The game was originally announced last year. It is currently in developement by Obsidian Entertainment. While it was previousely stated by Bethesda's head of marketing, Pete Hines, that the game will not technically be a sequel to Fallout 3. It still should be considered another story in the Fallout universe.
