Plan now for the The Rock Christian Fest at Six Flags

Every year Six Flags in Largo, keeps their Christian consumers in mind as they plan their roster of concerts. Whether it is Christian or Gospel music, there are plenty of satisfied music lovers that can enjoy their favorite style of music, which just happens to have faith-filled lyrics about the Lord. Now that Praise in the Park, the immensely popular gospel music concert, has come and gone, it's time for its Christian music counterpart—The Rock Christian Fest . This year's musical event is on Saturday, July 26th and features recording artists Amanda Noelle and Royal Tailor.

You can make this an all-day affair by getting there when the park opens at 10:30am. Jump on a few rides like the Superman and the Batwing (because you know how crowded those lines can get) then head over to hang out with 95.1 Shine FM for the Christian Family Picnic. You must make advance reservations in order to take part in this fun-filled extra happening between 12-2pm. It not only offers an all you can eat buffet but music and games as well.

You will have plenty of time to go back to the rides which includes Ragin Cagin, the amusement park's ninth roller coaster. Since July gets pretty hot, here's an idea—you could jump into Maryland's largest wave pool, Hurricane Bay. Keep cool and explore the many other water rides in the park, but make sure you dry off in time enough to grab a funnel cake and get settled for the concert. Get to the Gotham City Arena early and enjoy the contemporary Christian worship music of Central Christian Church who will open up the concert at 5 p.m. At 6pm, it's time for the main acts! Amanda Noelle and Royal Tailor will take the stage to kick off the concert.
