Massanutten Resort is located 10 miles east of Harrisonburg in northwest Virginia. A four-season resort, guests can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing and ice skating from early December through mid-March.

During warmer weather, outdoor activities include zip line and canopy tours, horseback riding, fishing and golf. Enjoy water fun all year with the WaterPark, which features indoor and outdoor water activities.

Special winter packages are offered at Massanutten Sunday through Thursday during the regular snow season, except on holiday weekends.

Wintergreen Resort is located 45 miles southwest of Charlottesville. Enjoy snowtubing in the winter on The Plunge. Tubers can also enjoy summer fun on the Neverplast surface, which allows tubing without snow.

Skiing, snowboarding and zip line tours are also available during winter at Wintergreen. Golf, tennis, hiking and a climbing wall offer fun in warmer weather.

Bryce Resort is located 75 miles northwest of Charlottesville in the Allegheny Mountains. Enjoy skiing, snowboarding or snowtubing, then warm up with dinner after dark.

Families are always welcome at Bryce, known as the most family-friendly resort in the Mid-Atlantic region. When the weather warms up, you can try your hand at grass skiing, mountain boarding or summer tubing.

Bryce Resort also offers summer fun for all with a zipline, mountain bike park, and a private lake for swimming and boating.

The Omni Homestead, located at Hot Springs, is the oldest ski resort in Virginia and one of the most popular getaway destinations in the state. Soak in the Jefferson Pools after a morning of skiing, snowboarding, tubing or ice skating.

Snowmobile and Segway tours are also offered at the resort. Enjoy a dip in the heated mineral-spring fed indoor pool year-round or try mountain biking, horseback riding or hiking.

Get the romance flowing with a carriage ride for two or bring the family along and see the sights. You can't go wrong with the rich history and Southern charm you'll find at The Omni Homestead.
