Plan a green getaway this weekend

Want to stay close to home but really leave your daytime job behind this weekend?

Why not plan a green weekend get-away?

You can, by visiting Blue Rock Station in Philo, Ohio.  This weekend, May 15th and 16th, they are offering a back to the basics getaway on their property with the option of staying in a quaint cottage or tent.  You can even learn to build your own straw bale cottage or earthship.  Use the time to explore sustainable living practices, participate in current projects happening on the farm, or just relax.  The choice is yours.

From just $115 and up, the package includes accommodations for two nights, locally grown and produced meals on Saturday and Sunday, a tour of Blue Rock Station, formal and informal sessions on green living and some much deserved R & R.  They'll even throw in a llama trek if you're feeling adventurous.

Can't get away this weekend?  Visit Blue Rock Station throughout the year as they have events happening each month.
