Designer Tommy Hilfiger presented his eponymous Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2013 Menswear fashion show for Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Fall 2013, held at Park Avenue Armory on February 8, 2013 in New York City.
Donning a black and white checkered jacket himself, Hilfiger walked the black and white diamond-patterned flooring to greet the crowd – a perfect setting for this Autumn/Winter collection that highlights all things plaid and argyle!
As for the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2013 collection, Hilfiger indulges every penchant for plaid, with a good dose of argyle thrown in, with the color palette to include black and white, perhaps with a touch of deep red, grey, slate blue, tan and burgundy.
And it isn’t just about plaid jumpers, coats and suits – there are plenty of shearling lined coats and bomber jackets.
Yet, even your standard camel coat gets a Hilfiger update with the addition of a plaid lining and plaid lapels!
Jumpers in this Hilfiger Fall collection have a certain retro 1950’s charm and artistically combine black and white plaid with touches of burgundy and tan.
A fine collection of chunky overnighters and briefcases complete the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2013 collection.
