Places in Houston to celebrate & watch Prince William & Kate Middleton Wedding

Article by Joe Sioufi - The Prince is getting married. For that occasion several Houston venues are holding special events in recognition of the royal wedding of Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Sherlock's Baker St. Pub, Baker St. Pub & Grills and Watson's House of Ales:
April 29 pubs will award couples that share the royal couple's first names, William and Kate with a $25 gift card and a crown and tiara.The restaurants will be showing coverage of the wedding throughout the day and diners will receive a free wedding cupcake with the purchase of any entree.

The celebration culminates at 10 p.m. with a "Royal Look-a-like Contest" where a Prince and Princess of each pub will be crowned and gifted with prize packs.

A Royal Breakfast at Ousie's: Ouisie's Table will host two Royal Breakfast and viewing parties on Friday.  You can watch the Pre-wedding coverage and the ceremony beginning at 7 a.m. or you can watch the event replayed at 9 a.m. Admission is $25

Every Houston Daughters of The Empire chapter will be holding a royal wedding event this week. 
The Red Lion at 2316 S. Shepherd will be open at 5 a.m. on Friday, April 29 with a special Royal Wedding Menu for Breakfast.

Toast the Newlyweds at Spindletop: The revolving rooftop restaurant high at the top of Hyatt Regency hotel, offers diners a chance to toast the royal couple Friday evening. The restaurant is offering complimentary glasses of champagne from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to dinner guests.

English Brunch At Drafthouse: Both Alamo Drafthouses will be screening the royal nuptials and serving an English brunch on Friday. The festivities start at 10:30 a.m. at the West Oaks Drafthouse in West Oaks Mall, Highway 6 at Westheimer. Brunch begins at 11:30 at the Katy Drafthouse, 531 S. Mason Road.

As for me I will be watching it Live from home, I remember when I was very young my mom told us about the Royal wedding of Diana as it was on T.V. We watched it with admiration and who did not get inspired by that Royal wedding?
I am sure Diana will be watching from Heaven her son's wedding.
