Gather at Cheesy Lee’s in Estes Park at noon Saturday, November 2 for a Tea Party event, complete with pizza, entertainment, speakers, and info on Amendment 66.
Speakers include Larimer County Clerk and Recorder, Angela Myers, and Rudy Zitti. Angela will speak about how the new voting laws affect you, and Rudy will talk about some of the problems with Amendment 66.
Rudy Zitti is with Americans For Prosperity and says he would like to “just get your people together after all you’ve been through up there and have a little social fun.” (Estes Park suffered a devastating flood in mid-September.) He has information about the problems with Amendment 66, which is a tax increase to provide funding for schools in Colorado, heavily funded by special interest groups from outside of Colorado.
Angela Myers is heading up the administration of “sweeping new election legislation” which is taking affect in 2013, technical upgrades to election and recording systems, and improving how the Clerk and Recorder office operates. Angela has been with the Clerk’s office for nearly 10 years. She has lived in Fort Collins for 14 years with her husband, Gary.
Entertainment provided by J.T. Adams, a young cowboy and Marine Corps Veteran. When he’s not singing and playing guitar he provides trail rides to small groups, horse boarding and training and riding lessons for Ranahan Ranch at the Elkhorn Lodge. Celebrate American patriotism with J.T. before learning about Amendment 66 and voting laws.
The Estes Park Tea Party Patriots is a non-partisan group. The Tea Party believes in fiscal responsibility, a constitutionally limited government, and free market economics. All courteous patriots are welcome to attend. Check tealiberty.com for more information.
