Police are still searching for a man who accosted a 54-year-old pizza delivery man Saturday afternoon, leaving him shot and robbed. The victim is in stable as of this morning at an area hospital.
According to a police press release, the victim was delivering a pizza on the 19000 block of Bentler Street.
He was approached by a man with a gun.
The victim tried to run, but the gunman shot him.
He took personal property from the victim, along with his delivery car keys. He then stole the car, a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am.
The suspect is described as a black man, in his 20s, 5’8” tall and about 180 lbs, with a dark complexion and a beard.
Police were still searching for the suspect this morning.
