Pittsburgh Steelers 2014 schedule news has come from the NFL. A list of opponents for the 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers schedule now gives fans a taste of what will come next season. A report from ESPN on Monday night (Dec. 30) details the 13 different teams that they will play and which divisions will serve as the main opponents for the AFC North.
The road games might be the easiest set of opponents that have been given out this offseason. Outside of the AFC North, they will play only one team on the road that has made the 2013 NFL Playoffs. That provides good odds for getting back to the postseason. The full list of road opponents are the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers.
There are some tough home games on the docket, as they will have to take on AFC South champion and two wild card teams. The full list of home opponents in addition to the Ravens, Bengals, and Browns are the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's a huge benefit to not have to travel to play the Saints, Chiefs, or Colts in the coming year.
More information about the 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers schedule will come out later in the offseason when the NFL announces the dates and times for every match-up.
