The Pittsburgh Pirates and Bradenton Marauders will hold their fourth annual Pirates Pep Rally on Saturday, February 16 in Bradenton. The event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and there is no cost to attend.

The Pirates organization partners with Realize Bradenton to present the Pirates Pep Rally. The event is held on Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton.

The Pep Rally is a part of the Pirates’ long-standing commitment to being an active community partner with the City of Bradenton, the team’s longtime spring training home. Pirate’s players and staff will attend the event, which includes autograph sessions with players. Pirates’ officials will speak on the main stage during the event.

Fans of all ages will find enjoyable activities at the Pep Rally. The schedule for the evening includes family games, face painting, prize giveaways, fantastic food and musical performances. Several community organizations will be represented.

Bradenton has been the Spring Training home of the Pirates since 1969. The Pirates open their spring schedule with the Black and Gold intra-squad game at McKechnie Field on Friday, February 22. The Marauders, Pittsburgh’s High-A affiliate, have called McKechnie Field home since 2010.
