Pittsburgh girls have style and they do it on a budget! Whether they are still living in the city or bringing their style to another place, Pittsburgh girls know how to bargain hunt and look fabulous! Danielle, a 30 year-old high school English teacher from McCandless Township talks about her style, her best bargain, and that dream purchase!
What is one word to describe your style?
What are your wardrobe staples?
Skinny/ stretchy pants from Chicos, cardigans, pencil skirts, colorful tanktops
What is one piece of fashion you could never pull off?
Stilettos! I fall when I’m wearing flats, so stilettos would be disastrous!
What is your favorite clothing season (fall, winter, spring, summer)?
Fall! I love being able to layer, and fall allows me to pull out my boots, scarves, tights, and cardigans!
What stores do you regularly shop in?
H&M, Ross, Kohls, and Old Navy
What was the best deal you ever found?
I found a silky black top that I wear all year round for every type of outfit for $1.50 at Old Navy!
If you were given $1000 and could splurge on one item of clothing/shoes/purses/jewelry, what would you buy?
I would get a really good dressy winter coat. I never seem to be able to find a quality one that I can wear with all my dresses and skirts in the winter.
