Pit Stops provide money to rescues and healthy treats for your dogs (Photos)

Sheehan Kovall, owner of Pit Stop vending machines, started his business when he decided he wanted to bring his love of art and dogs together. His family would toss broken candy machines and always purchased new ones. That's when Sheehan's creativity ran wild. He decided to make vending machines resembling fire hydrants that would dispense healthy dog treats.

Pit Stop vending machines are three-tiered and dispenses brands such as Cloud Star Itty Bitty Buddy Biscuits , Sojo's Good Dog Treats, Zuke's Mini Bakes, and Charlee Bear Dog Treats. They are both healthy and tasty for your dog.

All of the artwork for Pit Stop vending machines are done by talented Philadelphia art students.

25% of proceeds go to local rescues. During the last six months of 2012, Sheehan was able to give six $25 donations to local rescues through his Pit Stop business.

You can find Pit Stop vending machines at the following locations: The Village Bell, Duke & Winston, The Philly Pack Pet Shop, Trolley Car Cafe, Fedora Salon, Best In Show Grooming, Litterpaw Pet Supply, Picky Pet Supply Store, The Pet Snobs, La Va Cafe, Spot's Spot and Spa, and Unleashed Pet Spa & Boutique.
