PISTACHE French Bistro will be celebrating Brazil on the next stop of its annual Tour du Monde, an exciting lineup of tastes, sights and sounds that celebrate colorful countries and cultures from around the world.

A Tour stop to Brazil will feature classic Brazilian cuisine, Samba music and dancers, and of course- special viewing of the 2014 World Cup games, currently taking place in major cities throughout the country. Participating guests should remember to bring their Tour du Monde passports, not only because it will earn them a complimentary libation, but more importantly, because Tour participants with atleast seven stamps on their passports with will be entered to win a trip to Paris after the program’s conclusion. The evening’s Brazilian cuisine will feature the following selections, presented in a 3-couse menu. An exclusive Leblon Cachaça bar will serve Brazil’s national cocktail, the Caipirinha, which is from cachaça, a natural sugar cane rum, and muddled with lime and sugar cane.

Appetizers: Salada tropical: Hearts of palm, mango, and toasted cashews atop mesclun greens and served with a honey and ginger vin.

Linguica calabresa: House-made sausage,braised collard greens, fried sweet bananas and black bean sauce.

Ceviche de peixe e camarão com carambola: Fish and shrimp ceviche with starfruit.

Entrées: Feijoada: A traditional favorite, made with black beans, bacon, fresh chorizo, pork shoulder, beef sirloin, hearts of palm, and rice, served with a baby kale and orange salad.

Churrasco: A grilled strip steak, served with butter yucca fries, watercress cherry tomato salad, and chimichurri; a seafood moqueca.

Seafood moqueca paraiso tropical: Yellow tail snapper, mussels, shrimp and bay scallops combined in a coconut milk with onions, pepers and tomatoes, atop basmati rice and served with malagueta hot pepper sauce.

Desserts: Flan com coco: A coconot flan

Floating island with guava and porto sauce, with guave crème and toasted meringue

Strudel of starfruit and cashew nuts, with golden raisins, puff pastry and key lime liquor
