TMZ reported that Erin, now 39, hit three cars on three separate locations in Los Angeles and fled the scene each time. One person was hospitalized as a result.
When she was taken into custody, Erin was given a field sobriety test, which showed that she was intoxicated.
Erin’s bail was set at $100,000, which was posted later that same day.
She was previously arrested in April for assaulting her roommate.
Erin became famous as the title character in The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (1988), based on the children’s book series by Astrid Lindgren, but has mostly been out of the spotlight since. Her most recent film was Tim & Eric’s Awesome Christmas Special (2010).
But this fall, she sold an adult movie starring herself to which she sold to the adult film company Zero Tolerance Entertainment, according to Daily Mail.
Initial reports stated that Erin made $10,000 off the movie, but she told Radar Online in November that the figure was higher.
