Pippa Middleton lands food column with British food magazine

Pippa Middleton has landed a new gig and it's dishing on food. The Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister will begin her food column next month, the Daily Mail reported Monday. "I’m delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that’s always been a source of inspiration to me," Pippa is quoted as saying in a cover story announcing her new column.

Pippa's column has been dubbed "Pippa's Friday Night Feasts" and will reportedly include tips for kicking off the weekend with the perfect meal. "It will be an exciting opportunity to share my own passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining," the 29-year-old gushes.

Pippa published her first book, a party planning guide called "Celebrate", in October. Sales have flopped and the publisher has reportedly shelved plans for two follow up books by the socialite. That only adds to the controversial decision by Waitrose to replace longtime food columnist, Delia Smith, with Kate Middleton's sister.

Pippa's first food column will be published in the April issue of Waitrose Kitchen. It will hit newsstands March 28. The magazine reportedly refused to offer an advanced copy to media outlets.
