Pinterest hacked: 'Butt' photos are weight loss supplement spam

Pinterest was hacked recently with several photos of butts with links to weight loss supplement sites popping up all over the place. According to a video report by Newsy, Pinterest security was breached and some users noticed an influx of "butt pins" being on their boards. When you click these photos, you're brought to a website that promotes a weight loss supplement.

This isn't the first time that there have been "bad links" on the site either. Plenty of people have noticed that sometimes, pins don't go to the right place -- and that's something that is hard to avoid. However, this hacking was targeted at one specific site and was more than just a "bad link."

Pinterest said that they didn't have tons of complaints about the butt photos and that they have secured the accounts of those affected. As always, you should have a "strong" password that includes various numbers and letters to make it difficult for hackers to get into your account.

Check out the video above for more.
