Update 2/10/14: Safe!

A pint-sized, senior Chihuahua has been sitting at the Orange County Animal Shelter in Orange, Calif., for weeks.

The ten-year-old dog is named "Mickey," and though he is technically a senior, given his breed, he should have years of life ahead of him.

A photo of Mickey captures his sweet charm, and his desire to be free from the kennel run - safely in someone's loving arms.

Please take a moment to network on behalf of this handsome, older boy.

One person, one home, one bed, and a lifetime of love are all that are necessary to make this a recipe for adoption success.
