Pint for a cause

Happy Hour Food and Drink

Want a great reason to have a beer, besides that it tastes good? How about having a pint to help a local charity? Can beer taste any better than when it helps somebody else?

The Oregon Public House is the only non-profit pub and all proceeds are donated to charity. And, the best part of that is that you have the option to choose which charity you want your proceeds to benefit. Have a hard time believing the charitable donations? Simply ask and they will open their books for your review.

The 2,000 square feet in the 100+ year old building is inviting to all ages. When you arrive, you will see the charities to choose from, the specials on the board, and a few menus by the bar. After you order at the bar, you may choose your seat. Be prepared to be your own waiter and bus-boy. In other words, get your own water, condiments, silverware, and clean up after yourself before leaving.

If you really want to feel part of this non-profit, you can donate your time, enthusiasm, and talents in the pub.

The food is reasonable in price and the flavor is exceptional. The beer consists of 12 rotating local beers that will quench your thirst after a long day.

What are you waiting for? Need more reasons to support this one-of-a-kind pub? How about knowing that a brewery is in the works? Stop by to learn more or check them out at Oregon Public House and remember their hashtag: #aletruism
