The event will encompass 66 Pinot Noir producers from the Willamette Valley Wineries Association. Wine enthusiasts will get to discover what makes this cool climate region one of the nation’s top producers of Pinot Noir. One will get to taste wines from the entire Willamette Valley region – Portland to Eugene.
The Willamette Valley Wineries Association and the Environmental Media Association (EMA) have partnered together for this event. EMA is a nonprofit organization that educates the public on environmental issues and motivates sustainable lifestyles. With many of the wineries using sustainable practices this is an ideal union. Special to this event is a raffle that will benefit EMA. Attendee can purchase raffle tickets for Willamette Wine Country Beyond Compare and the winning ticket will enjoy a Willamette Valley wine country getaway for four with two nights at The Allison Inn & Spa, winemaker dinner at the private chef’s table at the Jory including food, a winemaker dinner in the Dundee Hills, private wine tastings at several of Willamette Valley wineries and an instant wine cellar of 120 bottles of Willamette Valley wines. This is the first time that the Oregon’s Willamette Valley Wine Association has brought their road show to Southern California and for the Pinot Noir wine lover this is an opportunity not to miss.
