Pinkberry opening stores Massachusetts!

Frozen yogurt lovers rejoice!

Celebs and fashionistas have been humming the tune of Pinkberry since it started in LA in June 2005. For those here in Boston who are not as familiar, Pinkberry is the original tart & tangy frozen yogurt brand and since it's iconic with plenty of competitors, I label it as high-end and appropriate for this column.  Two shops are opening in Mass: one in Hingham next Friday and soon another on Newbury Street!

The Hingham shop opens at the slanky Derby Street Shoppes on August 20 at Noon. Pinkberry is known for its healthful, locally procured yogurts and uncompromising quality from fruit cut fresh in-store every single day, to its thoughtfully selected 30+ toppings.
I, for one, sampled Pinkberry in Dallas not that long ago and was hooked.  Not only did I love how they pile on the fresh fruit toppings, but I found that it's also a great place to meet in a very pleasant and contemporary atmosphere.

So, lets welcome the arrival Pinkberry in Massachusetts!  It's a one of a kind experience with cups, fruit parfaits and smoothies that use pure nonfat milk by longtime local dairy company Garelick Farms. Next stop for Pinkberry is Boston's Newbury Street this fall and know that I will be waiting for a delicious sample.  Stay tuned!
