The tribute started off with Whoopi Goldberg who shared a moment on stage showing off her red shoes, just like the shoes Dorothy had on in the movie. Then the children of Judy Garland were introduced to the world in a very special moment.

However, when Pink arrived on stage it was absolutely magical. The talented singer sang the well-known song as the backdrop of the movie stills were flashed on the large screen. Sharing movie images that people, young and old, are familiar with, the segment was full of magic and was thrilling to watch.

What was also very beautiful was Pink’s gown. With a plunging neckline and lots of sparking crystals, it was a breathtaking gown and made Pink look like a princess! When she came out of the shadows of the stage people in the audience were taken back by the moment as it was stunning.
