Pink didn't have a squad of cheerleaders suggesting she would be on magazine covers as people didn't think she had the looks. After working hard and doing her best, the star is on the front of RedBook Magazine showing off her beauty. On Tuesday the first look of the cover was released and Pink looks hot on the front of the March edition.
“A ‘girl like me’ is someone who doesn’t rest on her looks, who has had people tell me from day one, ‘You’re never going to get magazine covers because you are not pretty enough,’” said Pink on the idea of possibly being considered pretty for a magazine cover. “I’m totally comfortable with that. I know my strong points: I work hard, I have talent, I’m funny and I’m a good person.”
While some fans might argue that the tables have turned for the star, it’s obvious that Pink hasn’t changed her stance in self-confidence. Cocky and hardworking, it appears that the world has changed how they look at the artist and for all the right reasons.
“Beautiful has never been my goal. Joy is my goal... to feel healthy and strong and powerful and useful and engaged and intelligent and in love. It’s about joy. And there’s such joy now,” said Pink about her life.
With a child and husband, the entertainer has been traveling the world for her music and fans love her. Add that every performance she does is perfect and it’s impossible not to be rooting for the star.
