Though some viewers may have been expecting to watch Pink (real name Alecia Moore) fly through the air in yet another awards show aerial display, a much more restrained performer stood on the Academy Awards stage Sunday night.
Pink performed "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for the Dolby Theater audience, which was made up of everyone from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Matthew McConaughey.

The singer's Oscars 2014 performance was strong, yet subdued in comparison to her typical performances. Though she barely moved while on stage, Pink easily commanded the attention of the Dolby Theater crowd, not to mention the millions of viewers at home.
