Players looking to get a better grip on ball flight and control will be able to swing Ping’s latest innovations in club design and construction from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at The Marshes Golf Academy.
On the tryout list will be the maker’s newest models. The lineup includes the i25 fairway woods, hybrids, driver and irons.
The Marshes Golf Academy’s staff makes use of the latest training technologies and techniques at the state-of-the-art 12-acre facility that has some of Canada’s leading instructors on staff. It includes a putting green, practice bunker and 350-yard driving range complete with five target greens.
The upscale 18-hole championship track at The Marshes is a par-72 layout that measures 7,027 yards from the back tees to 5,274 yards from the fronts.
Complementing the main track is the executive MarchWood Golf Course. The European-style, PGA-approved short course is a smaller version of the championship layout. It plays to a par of 27 while measuring 1,252 yards in length.
